Triumph Riders Association of Portland
Triumph Riders Association of Portland (T.R.A.P) is Cascade Moto’s chapter of the Riders Association of Triumph (RAT). Their primary objective is to get together as a group for rides, social functions and to support and promote Triumph Motorcycles, and Cascade Moto.
They meet for breakfast the first Saturday of each month at 9 am at Peppermill restaurant, 17455 SW Farmington Rd., Aloha, Oregon 97007, for club announcements and socializing.
Besides breakfast each month, TRAP also hosts several day rides, weekend events and other club activities throughout the year. Soren Winslow, the club president, tries to ensure that they have at least one club activity a month in addition to breakfast.
Their group rides are not led or escorted. Instead, each rider is given a map and encouraged to “ride at your own pace”. This promotes safety, allowing everyone to enjoy the route at whatever speed is comfortable for them, without the necessity of trying to keep up with others at a potentially dangerous and uncomfortable pace. It also enables more experienced riders to enjoy their ride more because they are able to ride at their pace.
Please visit the TRAP website at RAT-Pack.com (if you own a Triumph, don’t forget to sign-up and add your profile). Plus, don’t forget to join us on FaceBook at facebook.com/groups/Rat.Pack.Trap and our Yahoo email group at groups.yahoo.com/group/rat-pack
Triumph Tiger Troop
The Triumph Tiger Troop (TTT) is based out of Cascade Moto, in Beaverton, Oregon. Our mission is to enjoy the beautiful routes that surround us and to ride with others who are passionate about motorcycling.
The Triumph Tiger Troop rides are intended for all riders to enjoy at their own pace. The rides are hosted by Tiger riders (not lead). The routes are suggestions only, and all riders are responsible for their actions and safety (including obeying all traffic and safety laws and regulations). Download and view this year’s Triumph Tiger Troop Monthly Rides booklet. Additional routes will be added to over time. If you have on- and off-road routes for the group’s enjoyment, please share via the email address provided below. These rides are all subject to cancellation due to dangerous weather or environmental conditions. Visit their Facebook page at facebook.com/groups/226991154170411/ for more information.
